The transformation of the raised ground floor living, cooking and eating space of a terraced house in west London, for which furniture and rugs were designed and chosen with the client. It was the happiest of projects; a project leading to other projects.

It is a space in which to watch light through the day, to rest, laugh, to cook, eat and, on occasion, to drink. It is a happy place.

To be in the space is to feel a certain perfection and a sense of calm, alive joy. We have sought to convey this through a series of experiential photographs taken in sunlight over the course of a year.
