The architect’s own apartment in central London is in the restored upper floors of a Grade II*-listed town house dating from 1720.

On the lower floor the original ornate plaster ceilings have been carefully restored and a simple palette of materials and shades used. On the upper floor large existing cupboards house the library, media and dressing rooms, allowing the main spaces to remain clear of distraction.
